Love this AntiVirus Program
Have had some programs that load my system up with unwanted files and unnecessary junk. This is a clean, functional antivirus application that doesn't bury your system in unnecessary add-ons. Have purchased this same application for additional computers and will continue to do so. Does its job and leaves me alone!
AVG Has Gone to the Dogs
I noticed as others have pointed out that AVG is now a Huge resource hog when it comes to loading, updating and running.
I turned on my PC to do a few simple things, next thing I know my drive is running so much my system is brought to a halt, I can't do anything because AVG is updating... took 30 mins to free my PC back to me, and by then I forgot why I even turned on the PC!
Again yesterday, I turn on the PC... almost 20mins later AVG finishes updating and loading, Are YOU Kidding ME?! 20mins to update an anti-virus program?! NOD32 takes 3-5 seconds to update, you never know it's running and is much better protection (I have NOD32 on another PC).
AVG has gone to the dogs, it used to be a great little program that was free and did a job without ruling your PC... not anymore, it's being uninstalled for good.
Want anti-virus protection that will never fail you and runs invisible... get NOD32 and stay clear of this junk.
AVG anti-virus
This is my 3rd year with avg and the 2011 version is horrible. Takes at least ten minutes to load and then is very unstable. I removed and reinstalled it 3 times with no satisfaction. I am purchasing other anti-virus software and to those who purchase AVG 2011 good luck.!!!!
